Our New England Patriots crack the 50% barrier with a 4 for 6 against Jacksonville. 3 Randy Moss grabs and one from TE Chris Baker rounded out the air assault while Sammy Morris punched 6 on the ground. New England is now tied for 6th in Red Zone offense with San Diego. Not bad for a team that's struggled under 20 all season.

Tied for sixth?
Not going to lie I’m pretty surprised by that, I had figured it was one of the weak points of the team.
6th in scores per game, much worse in scoring percentage.
There’s definitely been improvement, though, especially over the last few weeks.

The more times I see the replay of Maroney’s fumble, the more I’m convinced the refs blew the call. It’s still Maroney’s fault for not holding onto the damn ball, but he was in the end zone when he fumbled.

Comparing our top Red Zone Output...
…to our Red Zone Success Percentage, can we take that as the Patriots are the most successful team in getting into the opposing team’s red zone? The fact that we’re tied for 6th while have a bottom half of the league success rate, that means we’re getting in the red zone more than any other team.
