Colts or Saints?!
One smoked us in the season, one came from behind. One's quarterbacked by Peyton Manning, another by Drew Brees. Indianapolis vs New Orleans. Undefeated vs Undefeated. Oops.
Which team would you rather win the Super Bowl?

I'm happy with the Superbowl matchup
Favre did what he does best – gets his team into a good position, and then tanks it thought downright arrogance: “People think throwing down the middle into double coverage in an obvious pass situation is dumb? I can do it, I’m Brett Favre” Fail. Plus the Saints have that feel-good aspect.
Colts > Jets. Manning deserves it. Rex Ryan, Sanchez, et al… meh.

who voted colts??...better not be a pats fan
Saints all the Way.
4 reasons why
1) Heath Evans (even though he is on IR)
2) Kyle Brady (Even though he is on IR)
3) David Thomas
4) Randell Gay (sb 39 winner)

Saints
Sometime i feel colts fans are too overconfident. Plus as much as i like manning when he’s not playing, i can not stand a year of manning worship and band wagoning.
That will happen regardless of if they win ;)

Ummmmmm may i just say if we lose then you and your fans will be doing what your saying we will do over brees so
who really cares. And if it was the pats them and there fans would also do the same thing (most teams with good QB’s would what you expect??)
The Horses font feet have cleared the huddle and as time slows it is also time for the back feet to clear and for us to declare victory!!!!! GO COLTS!!!

i do agree with that
but i sometimes feel that colts fans seemed more needing to reaffirm that manning is the best every chance the have. I mean i will admit he’s the Best QB of these times but i don’t really need to be reminded every second. Also some of the things some fans have said about our QB is slightly irritating, where as ppl here are willing to admit Manning’s greatness. Also i’m kind of tired of seeing manning in every single commercial i watch lol..
Half agreed.
Yes, we’d praise the Patriots. We’re not going to care too much if Brees wins- sadly most will just care that means the Colts lost.

you're right
For me, if the Saints win it’s twofold: First, it means the Colts lost. Other than that, it’s that Brees, a good guy in a city that could use some of upbeat news, wins the Super Bowl… how nice. No more emotion expended than that, really.
Keep the faith!
The only thing if the Saints win for me (obviously its dif. as i am a Colts fan) is I really don't feel like dealing with
all the trolls on here, and all the media bashing us because we lost. The will act as if we lost to some bad team or if we win i wonder if they give us more credit than many did after we beat the bears?? I think they should. Anyway it will be a good game.

Dealing with trolls
The Patriots still get bashed (especially from Colts’ fans) for their loss in Super Bowl XLVII, so wouldn’t it only be fair to assume that the same fate would await the Colts if they should lose?
There’s a Stampede Blue troll already here, gloating how he’s that much closer to printing up T-shirts that would read: 17-2>18-1. Of course any year that ends with a Super Bowl win is better than any year that doesn’t, regardless of how many regular season games that were won.
The Colts were one and done that year in 2007-08, similar to this year for the Pats, and their fans were really in no position to bash any team that surpassed them to make it to the Super Bowl. To listen to Colts’ fans, the Patriots’ 18-1 record somehow should have been a mark of shame instead of what it really was: A terrific, record-setting season that ended with a hard-fought but disappointing loss.
Likewise, Tom Brady and Matt Light said recently in separate interviews that the Colts and Saints both earned their right to play in the Super Bowl and need to be respected for that. I agree with them, so you’ll get no “bashing” from me. Both teams, each number 1 seeds, deserve their place in the Miami Super Bowl.
Rooting for the Saints to win is different from not giving the Colts any credit. Most Pats fans have a healthy respect for the talents and abilities of your team, they just don’t want them to win.
Keep the faith!

In the end, I’ve ALWAYS been a huge fan of Drew Brees going back to his days at Purdue (even though I rooted against Purdue!). I was glad when he went from San Diego to the Saints because he was finally on a team I could root for 99% of the time (until this year when they finally played the Patriots).
I want him to win this for HIS sake – whether it was the Colts or Jets or anybody but the Patriots against him in the SB.
’Sides, how can you root against the Saints, given all that franchise has gone through? You have to wonder if even Archie is secretly rooting against his son ….
well yes it is no surprise that the majority of you guys care more about us lossing than if Brees wins.
Also I got no problem with that as Brees is a great guys and they are a great team. and to lololol I think the reason the Colts fans say it more is that the media talks about it more often than anyone else and therefore we do. Just a thought

Really, I'm good with it either way.
Pats lost to both teams this year. Colts are the AFC representative, and therefore OUR representative. Saints and their long struggle to get to the Super Bowl is a great feel good story line.
But most of all, if either team’s fans come in here and make a nuisance out of themselves, I’ve got delete privileges and if necessary, the ban hammer. I’m all good either way.
Looking forward to a great Super Bowl with nothing on the line.

Don't flatter yourself.
There are far more reasons to root FOR the Saints than to bother wasting energy rooting AGAINST the Colts.
The Colts are still too boring to rate ‘evil empire’ status yet.
Unfortunately, if you asked me to predict who WILL win? Colts, probably by a lot.
