What??????????????
The funny thing s, I actually think that Tebow is a good fit in The Pats system. Hard working, athletic, and versatile.

I don't see it happening

Tebow would be wanting a first (doubtful) or secon (likely) round draft choice. The Pats have one first and three 2nds, so they could take him… but they’ve definitely got more than four holes in their team to plug. Guard, maybe a Tackle, definitely a 3-4 DE, OLB, perhaps RB, maybe a WR… while they might address those in free agency, I wouldn’t imagine they’d take a project QB with a second when they could potentially strike another Sebastian Vollmer or Logan Mankins with a first or second-rounder.

According to Senior Bowl practice notes

His fundamentals suck as a QB. Can’t take a snap under center, stares down receivers, and tosses wobbly throws. Woops. Sounds like a guy whose value will slip to the mid or later rounds to me. Don’t need a guy like that. Ideally, we should take the top OT or OG to give Tom some time to find his new receivers, and block for the run a little, but as someone showed in some stats, a stronger defense does a great deal in propelling a team to the top as anything else. So we should pray for the top DE or OLB 1st, like Sapp/Griffen/Lane/Weatherspoon/Hardy/kindle/or Hughes type guys, 2nd pic more of the same, 2nd 2nd rounder maybe the top OT/OG available there, and top a WR/RB for final pick in 2nd round.

can't stand him

his arrogance is disturbing, and we have bigger needs.

Pass on it, even if we were to go the Wildcat route on offense.

If that were the case, we’d be calling up Mike Kafka from Northwestern. Guy can run like hell for a QB.

So can Edelman and Stanback

And they’ve taken snaps behind C. I don’t see them drafting specifically for a Wildcat – especially not with Kevin Faulk being around the scene, he was getting direct snaps and passing it in 2001.

Does that mean we should be looking into bringing back David Patten as well?

I wouldn't mind a guy LIKE David Patten

a low-round big, fast WR with a knack for playoff TDs would suit me fine. Haha. But if they didn’t run the Wildcat with Edelman, Stanback and/or Faulk, why would they draft for one now?

It’s all very unlikely.
