Around SBN: Troubled Yankees Join Troubled Red Sox In Last Place

Patriots receiver Randy Moss and safety Brandon Meriweather were named to the AFC team for the Jan. 31 Pro Bowl in Miami.

Moss will replace teammate Wes Welker on the roster, while Meriweather takes the place of Buffalo rookie Jairus Byrd who, like Welker, finished the season on injured reserve.

That's cool

although it’s too bad they won’t be available to play in it. : )

Moss should have made it in the first place.

Keep the faith!

Oh! That explains things!

Whenever I heard Peyton Manning refer to his early February handicap, I thought he was talking about the fivehead.

Token southern hemisphere guy - 14,688km from Foxboro. That's 9128 miles, for you heathens.

Hmm, no V-Jax?

Between that and Manning getting almost 20 times as many MVP votes as Rivers (I think he’s a good choice, but it should have been closer), I suspect that SD will be playing the “disrespect” card for the next little while.

Go Pats!

Kudos to Meriweather

A nice finish to his breakout year. To say nothing of the postseason.
