Wrapping up the Maroney + Moss + Branch deals so we can see exactly what the New England Patriots got:
On Oct 12 we traded a 4th round 2011 pick (i.e. Denver's) to the Seattle Seahawks for Deon Branch.
What we got and what we gave and a poll after the jump.
The net results:
We gave up:
Laurency Maroney (contract year, so 17+ games, assuming we make playoffs).
Randy Moss(contract year, 13+ games)
6th round 2011 pick.
7th round 2011 pick.
Likely 5th round 2012 compensation pick for Moss.
Another 2012 compensation pick for Maroney (also a 5th?).
Deion Branch (2years remaining on contract, $5M+ per year).
Minnesota's 3rd round 2011 pick.
