Tom Brady Returns to Practice, Patrick Chung "Feeling Better"

Stay connected for news and updates

As expected, Tom Brady returned to practice today as the team prepares for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Brady missed yesterday's practice with a foot injury.  Yesterday, the Boston Globe reported that Brady was suffering from a foot sprain.  There's a chance that Bill Belichick lists Brady as probable or even questionable tomorrow, but there's no chance he actually will miss Sunday's game.  So much for all of that.  Still, the situation will be one to monitor in game.

In some good news, Patriots safety Pat Chung participated fully for the second straight day.  Asked if the last two weeks were frustrating, Chung answered, "Of course it's not easy, but it's over now. As those weeks went along, my knee feels a lot better."

The Patriots defense will be aided greatly by the presence of Chung.  Don't expect teams to run all over the Pats with Chung roaming in the secondary, as his impact is felt all over the field.
