Tom Brady Will Play Tomorrow
If you're even a casual Patriots fan, you wouldn't doubt for even a second that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady won't play tomorrow. Yes, he's listed as questionable. And yes, he will play tomorrow.
I only bring this up because, while watching ESPN today (shoot me), I saw the headline (Brady to Sit?). Really? If there's any player that will play through the pain, it's Tom Brady.
Last year, Brady played through cracked ribs and broken finger on his throwing hand. He's played the last two weeks through a sprained foot. Of course, it's got to be soar. But lets be real, this is Tom Brady. If Brady went through surgery to remove his throwing arm, he would still be begging to get out there.
That's not to say it's not a situation to watch: it is. Brady missed practice and on a short week that could certainly have its affects. However, with a 10+ day break until the Jets game next Monday, don't expect Brady to not suit up tomorrow, despite what his injury report designation may be, and what the media may be saying.
Players that look unlikely to play include Mike Wright (concussion), Jonathan Wilhite (hip), and Stephen Neal (shoulder). All are listed as questionable and should be gametime decisions. Other players listed as questionable include Jarrad Page, Fred Taylor, and Myron Pryor.

If they get a lead up, Hoyer might see extended action
But there’s no way Brady doesn’t play unless he’s actually on IR (or maybe if they’d already locked in AFC #1 seed and he needs the time to repair).

Oh!
That’s the coin they use for every Patriots OT coin-toss to give the opposition the ball.

Because it's really easy to feel that way ..
especially when most of the national media probably doesn’t even really follow the teams.
Because they're wrong 99.7% of the time
And the 0.3% that they are right, there’s always a smidgen of wrong somewhere caught in between. Making that “Brady To Sit” headline is sort of a backhanded diss to the Lions…as if they shouldn’t show up tomorrow. Eh, ratings will be ratings.
I don't think so. Homey don't play dat.

4 downgraded to out
Per Mike Reiss: Patriots downgrade OL Stephen Neal, DL Myron Pryor, CB Jonathan Wilhite and DL Mike Wright for Thursday’s game. RB Fred Taylor has made the trip.

Jarrad Page was also downgraded
so it’s possible he could play as well.

I feel like since Page cost the Patriots a conditional pick...
…he’ll be inactive as long as the secondary is playing well.
I think you're misunderstanding the articles.
The secondary is playing well. They’re doing everything they should. The schemes are working. It just comes to down to execution and they’re still young so they’re not playing as strongly down the stretch- especially when the offense can’t get them off the field. These young players have gotten much better over the course of the year and they’ll only get better with more experience.

Why not sit TB12 vs. the Lions, run the ball @ a weak run D with Hoyer trying his best… at worst we end up 8-3 with a fresh, healthy TB12 ready for the Jets… at best we win and Hoyer gets a scalp on his belt.
