Around SBN: Yu Darvish Diagnosed With Mariners Fever

"I don't think they are going to extend my contract here," said Moss, speaking to reporters at the charity softball game of former Patriots teammate Heath Evans.

"I understand the beast, the nature of it. I think that just with what I think and what I know I don't think they're going to re-sign me back. So, after this season if there is not a lockout I'll be looking for a new team. I got a lot of respect for the Patriots and what they did for me and my family. So, the only thing I can do is just play this year out and see what my future holds after that. "

Bummer dude.

Just…bummer.

The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL

The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back

The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: Allergic to second periods

I'm pretty sure most fans want randy back, but i cannot disagree with what he says.

Look at the situation with wilfork, we need the guy and yet the pats are still a little slow to pay him. Even during his first FA after the pats got him, the team was a bit slow to sign him again after the record season. Also with brady needing an extension, i will not surprise is randy’s contract gets a back seat. Still i hope brady says sumthing about getting moss back cuz i don;t think he’s gonna be happy throwing to no name receivers (except wes If he is healthy) again.

rivers signed a new contract with the understanding that antonio gates would be resigned. moss is 33, if he gets injured this season i could see it being his last, otherwise if he is healthy why would you not resign him? who else is there to catch the ball?

He may be right!!

I would let him play it out. He isn’t getting any younger.

Those of you who think you know everything just annoy those of us who do!!
