Joe Lombardi is the Saints quarterbacks coach – his grandfather is Vince, the coach for whom the trophy is named. Around midnight last night, Payton noticed Lombardi posing with his father, Vince Jr. and his two brothers. "I just thought to myself, ‘You got to be kidding me,’ " Payton said.

Little to no meaningful high-level coaching experience? Check.
Respected family name? Check.
After the Colts loss I felt the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.
Rooting for our enemy not realizing that a Peyton SB loss puts BRADY back on top of the who’s best QB of the decade. We have went down this road many times, but I think we can honestly say that Brady has him beat. They both had those heart breaking losses in the SB along with Favre and Elway.
