insurance?

why not get into the LT/westbrook hunt ?

Westbrook is basically a slightly faster, slightly more talented Faulk...

but with injury issues – he’s only good for half a season. Given Faulk knows the system and has an insane level of trust from Brady, Westbrook probably isn’t necessary, especially at the price he’ll likely command.

Token southern hemisphere guy - 14,688km from Foxboro. That's 9128 miles, for you heathens.

no way...

I’d rather Faulk than either of those two

Keep the faith!

I'm happy...

but hope the Pats don’t stop there, with respect to our RBbC.

Who are we gonna grab?

I hate to say it, but we’re not going to use a 2nd round pick on a committee back. Unless Montario Hardesty drops into the middle of the 4th, we’re not going to get any large improvements in our RBBC

No, but we could use a 2nd rounder on a guy to be part of a committee for a year while he learns the system

Or maybe the plan is to forgo RB this year and use the Raiders’ #1 next year on the best RB in the draft.

I'm saying that Belichick...

…isn’t going to use a first or second rounder on a player who isn’t going to be an every-down kind of guy (or at least a 2 down per set player). It would be a luxury pick to grab a 1 down player early in the draft- a luxury we don’t have at this time.

Tying up the loose ends.

As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

A guy like Dwyer might be worth a 2nd round pick

something close to a power back, with the 2nd or 3rd pick in the round – I’d be okay with that.

I’m really looking for the first two picks to be front 7 oriented, of course subject to values this is likely to change.

I forget what position that is that lines up next to the tackle, not the guard…but the other guy. We should probably get a couple of those in some shape or form also – as Mr. Hannah says.

Wow!

I feel like it’s Christmas around here. Wilfork, Bodden, and Faulk. They were all on my wish list, and we kept everyone. I love Kevin Faulk, he’s one of my all time favorite Pats. I am so happy right now.

Probably

He might pull a Seau, though. You never know what the draw of a ring might do.
