Patriots Players Promoted From the Practice Squad
Thanks to patriotguy2 for the initial notifications!
The following players have been recently upgraded from the practice squad to the team roster:
Robbie Agnone, TE, 6'6, 260 lbs.
Bruce Davis, OLB, 6'3, 252 lbs.
Adrian Grady, DE/DT, 6'1, 290 lbs.
Darnell Jenkins, WR, 5'10, 191 lbs.
Rob Myers, TE, 6'1, 240 lbs.
Darryl Richard, DE/DT, 6'4, 290 lbs.
Jeff Rowe, QB, 6'5, 221 lbs.
And another player you may have missed during the regular season was:
Thomas Williams, LB, 6'1, 237 lbs. Williams was promoted prior to the playoff game against the Ravens, but was deemed inactive for the game itself.
These moves probably don't mean much- they'll mostly be camp bodies that get knocked down over the off-season, but perhaps a few of these players will emerge as solid players with plenty to contribute.

I have a feeling that the league doesn't have a practice squad during the season, per se
so they all get added to the enlarged roster, some of them will be cut during the roster cutbacks to come, and from those cutdowns the 2010 practice squad will emerge. There’s a good chance that they’ll be cut somewhere down the track and be resigned to the practice squad, assuming they’re still eligible.

I'm pretty sure this is exactly what's going to happen.
I still hope a couple players emerge.

Yep, the practice squad goes away until the pre-season is over.
The guys that are worth it get signed, and the rest get dropped. Happens every year.

Is Darryl Richard the business major?
One of the patriots draft picks won a bunch of academic awards and had 4.0 GPA. Hopefully he’ll be able to learn the playbook with that aptitude.

Darryl Richard scored the highest on the Wonderlic tests of all the 2009 D-line draftees
So it would fit if he was a 4.0 GPA, prize-winning scholar.

Just based upon his measurables...
…but going beyond his ideal size, his college stats were mediocre at best (his best season was 38 catches for 484 yards). However, if he can put up those numbers AND block? He’d be a shoe-in.

He got signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers...
…off our practice squad in the middle of last season.

I was gutted, because it happened right around the time it became clear Joey Galloway sucked
At the very least, Nunn would’ve been better than Galloway, but he was stolen before he had a shot to prove it.

I'm glad I had a chance to watch him in training camp
and preseason too. Hope he gets his chance.
Keep the faith!
