Bodden stays
http://sports.espn.go.com/boston/nfl/news/story?id=4977828
Adam Shefter is reporting that the Patriots and Leigh Bodden have agreed to a deal in principle. No word yet on the amount of money or the years but barring an absolutely outrageous deal, I'm very glad.
Bodden, last year, had the exceptionally rare combination of being fundamentally sound while also stepping up for some big plays. He'll be a stable foundation in our secondary around which our younger DBs can build.
Now just the inevitable Kevin Faulk resigning and we'll return all of our key free agents. Good things.

Ahh yes
But with the tenders, I figure that we’re at least not going to lose them this year. And although playing on the one year tender is unlikely for both of them, I didn’t see it being as much of an issue as Wilfork being forced to play on his franchise tag.
Agreed.
I’m pretty sure that because they’re tendered, they’re lower on our “must-sign” urgency list. However, after Bodden signs with a team, I’m sure they’ll be next up for a new contract.

I just hope this isn't in the D.Robinson salary area
Bodden was good, but not good enough to over pay for.
