Please Rec this as well!
The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL
The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back
The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: Let's hope they get past the first round this time, eh?
Good draft.. fun... interesting as all get out :P
Hardly any of that went how I expected. There were a few teams that got exactly what they wanted though.
Having three drafters on three computers was interesting:
SMP: Ok, you’re next up, start writing your draft pick.
PONP: DAD! I put my draft pick in, but it won’t post! Computer’s just frozen.
AGOW: They say you’ve only got a minute:
PONP: Help! Can somebody post it?
SMP: Sure, who do you want?
PONP: Well I wanted Golden Tate, but then somebody took him and …..
SMP: Shortened version!
AGOW: Time’s up!
PONP: Arrelious Benn – Do I lose my pick? I only got one pick ! Crap!
SMP: Done, you’re all good.
PONP, AGOW, SMP: Whew!

And YOU! Some excuse about RA troubles??
If you were at Roger Williams, I could tell you who at least one of the perpetrators was (if I wasn’t that perp’s mother of course.)
Keep the faith!
Hey, what's up? You didn't grab a single QB, P, or LS.
I expected better from you, LOL.

lol
Besides, Skywalker picked well for you guys in our draft I thought. ;-)

I know everyone loves Saffold -
well Shake at least, and I trust him. tbh, I haven’t paid much attention to the prospects this year…
I definitely like the positional picks, though..
And, thanks for not picking teh Tebow! :-)

Nooo
I just have visions of Ryan Clark clobbering Welker again… except this time Ryan Clark is named Rodger Saffold and he’s 320lbs and clobbering Welker.
Shudder.

I'd probably rather have Hughes and Carrington
but Saffold and Jones were easily top 3 Indy prospects available when your picks came up.

Good choice
Seems to be the most Belichick-like of any of the candidates, although Kindle’s intriguing. First-round OLBs can be pretty horrible busts, though…(haha, Jets, haha, you still have Vernon Gholston. Suck lemons).

Pats draft
B-B+, Id be happy with it, I like the sleeper pick of Hardesty.
One thing I wouldve changed……
Rather than going Norwood/Sapp, I wouldve preferred any combo of Sapp/Spikes, Sapp/Benn, Norwood/Benn or Norwood/Spikes……. Dont get me wrong I love Norwood and Sapp. But don’t like the idea of two OLB’s as one will be for depth rather than adding an immediate starter. Unless we are converting one to an ILB, which is more risky than taking Spikes.
Ideally I would love to see Spikes paired with Mayo. The Sapp/Mayo combo makes the most sense, as much as I love Norwood.
I think we could have Norwood as an ILB if that's going to be the case.
His frame is ideal for that position. Could be worth a shot if the draft were to go this way.
The 2010 New York Mets: Maybe it's the Phillies' turn to have 95% of its roster on the DL
The 2009 New England Patriots: At least we got our division title back
The 2009-10 New Jersey Devils: Let's hope they get past the first round this time, eh?
I'd say that's where he fits best anyway
He’s a solid tackler, gets to the backfield and makes plays in space/coverage.
Norwood isn't an OLB in the Pats system - he's far too small
He’s only 6’1 and weighs a chunk less than an ideal OLB – he’s more Mayo-sized. That puts him as an Iinside Linebacker, and he’s faster than Spikes whilst doing it.

If he was still there at 53
Like he was in this draft, I would love to see the Patriots take Campbell. Seems like New England would be a great fit for him, with a year to grow under Light, and being taught by one of the game’s best OL coaches. Him and Vollmer could be the best pair of tackles of the coming decade.
I thought about that, too
If the Pats do get a solid 1,2a,2b defensive spread that gives them a pass-rush and depth, then the 2c could well be used on a BPA-project basis. While I’d love to also get Damian Williams as a Pats-type 2nd round WR that could immediately contribute, if he’s not there and Campbell is as a late 2nd, I’d pull the trigger – even if he’s too raw for the O-line, he’s a very quick O-lineman and would easily fill in to that 3rd TE/O-lineman spot as a blocker. In other words, immediate value, and potentially astronomical longterm benefits if he is a second Vollmer, given he has ridiculous physical gifts.

Well niner nation people seemed to give me a B/B+ for my draft
I got Robinson and Iupati, which was popular, but my pick at 13 was iffy and even I knew that. If I could have traded down, I would have. The only thing they recommended I could have done instead of getting Derrick Morgan, was to get Kyle Wilson or another late first round and pay them obscene amounts just because they fill a hole. It just wasn’t pretty at 13.
Loved my first pick, hated my second.
My BPA list was picked clean by 62, so I had to make a quick stab for need. Oh well, none of it matters in the end.
