The their final pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, in the 7th round, the New England Patriots selected Zac Robinson, quarterback out of Oklahoma State.
Robinson is undersized. He stands at slightly over 6-2, 210 pounds. He had a great junior season, completing over 65% of his passes with over 3000 yards and 25 touchdowns. However, his production dropped his senior season.
Still, Robinson has a lot of experience working out of the shotgun at OSU, is accurate on his underneath throws, and is athletic, with an ability to step up in the pocket or take off and run.
Overall, a tough/athletic player who I had the Patriots targeting in the later rounds. He should compete for a roster/practice squad spot, giving Brian Hoyer some good competition. Greg's Grade: B
