To Rec a response, click the actions tab under the response, and press Rec. 

Rec as many responses as you like.  

You can't Rec your own response (why would you even want to?), the system won't let you.

If you create accounts solely for the purpose of Rec'ing yourself.  I will delete the Recs from those accounts and ban the accounts from the site.  If it continues to be a problem, I'll ban your main account as well.  This is for fun.

NOTE:  I tend to post in them (seeds for thought) ... a lot, but my comments are not counted since I'm not in the competition.  Inadvertently, I may have already taken your idea, sorry.  Also, I'm told that there are some people that would like to participate, but can't come up with any ideas.  Easy, take mine.  If you see a comment of mine that you like, claim it for yourself.  Just reply to the comment with "I claim this comment for Queen and country!" or maybe just "Mine!".  Please only claim one comment per contest.  Thanks.  I recently had a unclaimed comment win, so it is possible.
