Pats first practice concludes. WR Sam Aiken, DL Ron Brace, OLB Derrick Burgess, WR Wes Welker and WR Darnell Jenkins do not practice.

ESPNBoston's Mike Reiss. Coach Belichick said some players weren't ready for the field. For bubble players like Brace and Jenkins, this isn't a good sign. I guess both Aiken and Burgess could be considered bubble players too.
