Okay Robert Kraft, time to pull out the check book and get the Brady deal done. With the Bradford deal set it is time to move forward. In the great words of Doctor Evil, Bradford was given $50 MILLION as a signing bonus, obviously an NFL record. So now where does Brady fall in terms of getting paid? It would have to be more than a rookie who was chosen number one in this year’s draft and has not thrown a single pass in his career. Show some respect Robert and do the right thing, pay Tom like he should be now and let’s shoe away all of the uncertainties and distractions that this has caused. It is one thing to draw a line with Logan Mankins and what you feel he is worth and not bending on your stance, but this is Tom Brady. We don’t need to go through all of his accolades because we all know them and how important he is to this franchise. It may be a mistake to guarantee that much money to a rookie who has never played a down, but not Brady. In a league where the QB play dictates how much success a team has it is important to hash this deal out and quick. If you believe that the Tom Brady’s of this world grow on trees and can easily be replaced than you are sadly mistaken. Just pay the man.
