2.       I love Rex Ryan’s plan, let’s have a town meeting to solve Revis’s contract dispute so that we can all come up with a solution.  I have a better idea, how about asking each player to give up some of their signing bonus, including you Rex if you have one, and get it to Revis’s to make up the gap of money between the contract offers.  Ya, I didn’t think so.  Rule number one and the players will tell you Rex, stay out of someone else’s business and contract negotiations when it comes to money and just worry about yourself.

3.       Here is a question to Frank Bauer who is Logan Mankins agent.  What has a better possibility of happening, Dante Scarnecchia working his magic to develop another serviceable lineman to protect Brady or the Patriots rewarding your client for airing out his dirty laundry to the media?  Don’t hold your breath!

4.       It must be a sad state of affairs for Al Davis when the Oakland Invanders of the USFL owned by Tad Taube back in 1983 had an attendance average of 31,211 and now seeing his Oakland Raiders in 2009 average only 44,284.
