Stephen Gostkowski should have another great year as the team's kicker. (Photo by Jim Rogash/Getty Images)
Experience: 4 Seasons in the NFL, all with the New England Patriots
Past Role: Gostkowski entered the NFL, having to fill the shoes of the most well known kicker in NFL history- Adam Vinatieri. Gostkowski, while not having kicked in as many big games as Vinatieri, has been noticeably more accurate on kicks than Vinatieri, as well as has much more distance on his kickoffs. Basically, Gostkowski did an admirable job replacing a local legend. He's been All Pro and is one of the best kickers in the league.
Predicted Role: Gostkowski should continue his success. He's playing for a long term contract (he's currently on a one year extension), so once Tom Brady gets his contract, Gostkowski could be looking at a 4 or 5 year deal. He should have another great year.
Predicted Season Numbers: 16 Games Played, 30 FGA, 28 FGM, 100% PAT, 24 TBs.
Predicted Depth Chart: #1 K
Summary: Gostkowski will stay the starting kicker and will have a great season- and will be rewarded with a contract at season's end.
