So um...how do you gameplan from THAT?

The Jets Defense is tough and is not going to be as easy to score against as the Bengals.   From what I saw last night the TEs could be a huge factor in this game as Heap had a solid night for the Ravens.  If Edelman can come back, then 4 wide with Moss, Wes, Juls, and Hernandez could be an very productive formation.

* Sidebar * Anyone else think about the possible evolution of Welker's 1st touchdown?   He was lined up behind Crumpler and Gronk out in the flat - that's a very effective screen play.  Phase two of this could be subbing Edelman in for Wes, same formation.   Edelman was a college QB, so as the defense reacts to get after the screen in the flat, you can have Gronks in the near seem or Moss on the opposide side of the field run a play action route and likely be WIDE OPEN for a lot of yards.   Just a thought, and it certain depends on Edelman's arm strength and accuracy.

For the Pats D - I really don't know how you can game plan against an offense that did nothing.   That film is as valuable as preseason film really, all you can do is stay close to it and identify the zone blocking runs LT had success with.  Since the Jets didn't make any adjustments in game really it's hard to know what they are going to come out with next week.  It could be a no huddle spread look, it could be more of a power run game - there is no telling because that performance provided no indication of where their success will come from.
