Tom Brady Gets Fired Up When Pats Aren't Picked To Win
"I’d say this: When you’re sitting there and everyone else is picking everybody else, it gets you kind of fired up. Obviously, today that’s worn off. But last night when I’m watching, I’m going, ‘Oh, really, is that really what you think?’ Then you think about standing up on the victory stand at the end of the year MF-ing everybody about picking other people.
That is a bit of a motivator, always being the underdog. We’ve had a lot of guys — as every team does — have chips on their shoulder, like I do and I always will have. Because you just know that this game comes and it goes. We’ve sustained something pretty special over the years. But also, we’ve found ways to re-invent ourselves when we’ve needed to. Hopefully this year we’ve really done that. It remains to be seen. I think we have a lot of guys on the team who are hungry. We have some young players, We’ve got a good mix of some veteran players. We’ll just see how consistent we can be. That’s going to be what determines the fate of our season. I know we can make a lot of good plays. We’ve just got to be able to do it consistently."

Brady's Rant
Good to hear that the “Ghost of Rodney Past” still inhabits the Patriots locker room.
When they say, "it walks through walls,"
they mean it.
As Mr. Sloan always says, there is no "I" in team, but there is an "I" in pie. And there's an "I" in meat pie. Anagram of meat is team... I don't know what he's talking about. --Shaun of the Dead

Well lets hope the team has the same F U attitude as TB
Sure, luck means a lot in football. Not having a good quarterback is bad luck.

Prince Miller has future Patriot written all over him
=========
Playing running back, wide receiver, and cornerback for three-time state champions, Miller had five interceptions and three punt returns for touchdowns as a junior.
Miller: "I am good at jamming the receivers at the line. There are not too many that can run away from me. I also go up to get the ball well. I understand the game because I look at a lot of film. But I want to work on getting better on coverage. I do it well now, but you can always get better."
Scouting Report: Fantastic at jumping and reading routes, great hips at reacting to the ball, and strong at the line to knock off timing.

Not entirely sure I want a route-jumper, although if he's good at it I can make exceptions
He does look a rather handy punt returner, a fair athlete, and he’s got a bit of fire in him – he bounced a few tackles off in that punt return he broke in the Ravens preseason game.

I normally don’t like small CB’s but he has versatility. toughness and very spunky. it would be interesting to see how he compared during preseason on patriots camp. until next year or until someone gets injured.
one reason why revis is so good is that he is a jammer and physical.
That's okay in a nickel/dimeback
They’re likely to be pressing Welker-like guys in the slot, so the smallness isn’t necessarily a detriment. The fact he’s a decent returner means he’s ideal as a nickel/backup.
Wilhite doesn’t return punts; someone should return Wilhite.
