Patriots 20 Cowboys 16. The defense is definitely the big story in this game. I remember saying that the patriots would never win will never win a game 17-14 with this defense. Well they probably won't but 20-16 will do just fine.
The Good
The Front Seven did a great job getting penetration and keeping Tony Romo off his game. There was pressure and there certainly was pass rush. Andre Carter had his best game of the season, 4 tackles and two big sacks.Vince Wilfork also played well forcing a turnover. Kyle Arrington was another standout on D he had a nice int to add 4 on his season total and had some very key pass break ups on Miles Austin late in the game. He is really becoming a good player here in NE. The secondary as a whole had probably their best performance of the season.
The Bad
Coincidentally the offense really had one of their worst games of the season, scoring only 20 points. The O-line, the QB, the WRs, even the TEs struggled. Tom Brady threw a couple picks, H-bomb had a fumble in Dallas territory. Gronk was getting mugged at the line and was contained for a lot of the game Our play calling wasn't stellar either. We continued to pass the ball when the run was working and when Dallas was covering well. You also have to give credit to that talented Dallas defense and Rob Ryan. He had a great game plan for the offense and if it weren't for the pats's Ds incredible play, it would have won Dallas the game. Let's hope this is the worst offensive production we see all season.
The Redeemed
Tom Brady with a short 8 yard touchdown pass to Aaron Hernandez to give the patriots the lead with :22 left on the clock erased their combined 3 Turnovers that game and put the Patriots in 1st place in the AFC East. Let's Go. Good win fellas go win.
