I'm still largely confused by what is going on in this game. The Patriots turned the ball over three times in the third quarter, resulting in ten Giants points. The Patriots defense has continued to play well enough to keep the offense in the game, and a 3rd and goal interception by Kyle Arrington late in the third quarter kept the score at 10-3.
And suddenly, the Patriots offense that has been entirely held in check through nearly three quarters is driving as the fourth quarter is beginning. After two long Wes Welker catches, the Patriots have the ball in the Giants red zone to start the fourth quarter, with a chance to tie up the game.
