Why We Needed This

Ok look; we are on a 2 game losing streak. Our offense has posted 3 porous games in a row. Brady has looked bad, our WRs outside of Welker have been even worse, the defense still can't be relied upon to win games, and we still can't run the ball well enough to win. With that said our SB hopes are not over, yet. There is one thing that we haven't tried that could save this team. It's another WR mainly a deep threat, to be very specific Taylor Price. Now I realize Ochocinco is still on this team and Ochocinco got open a couple times today, but the chemistry isn't there and in all the time he has been here, in all the hours spent practicing with Brady, all the time absorbing the offense, all the reps in practice and in games, there is still no chemistry between the two. The Ocho experiment needs to come to an end IT IS NOT WORKING AND PROBABLY WON'T WORK THIS SEASON. Call it quits because he is not serving the purpose we brought him in for. Our offense has become to predictable and to easy to stop. The teams aren't getting any easier and if we want to beat the Jets at their place and the Eagles at theirs (who are just as good as the giants pass rush, but with better DBs) then we will need to try something different.

About the recent loss I am not too shocked about it, because I did say in my previous post

"So we will have to wait and see if the Pats will finally make their two underused WRs earn their pay check, because if they don't we might be seeing the same outcome of last Sunday well into November."

I was referring to Price and Ocho, but mostly Price as the WR they were underusing, and when I saw that Price was inactive for this game, I thought our chances of winning weren't as good. I really feel like someone who can take the top off the D will revitalize the whole offense and bring it to the top of the league again, and I think this loss might finally give BoB and Belichick the sense to get Price involved in the Offense.

But the pats have to give Price a good try, at least 20 snaps. This is why every patriots fan should be lobbying for Price to get some significant playing time next week because really he is our only hope for this team to win a SB. In fact he might be the only way we make the playoffs. Look at our schedule we have the Jets, Chiefs, Eagles, and Bills left. Every single one of those teams can give this teams problems. We can end up at 11-5 or 10-6 and miss the playoffs (and may I remind that there has NEVER been a team with the League's Worst Defense to make the playoffs in NFL History). So we may be looking back at this loss as a key game that changed the course of the season for us because it might have been the final straw to make BoB play Price adding the missing dimension of this offense (Deep Threat). And if they choose to play Elderman over Price like today for the rest of the season, then (In My Eyes) the season is lost
