Fantasy Football Championship Week

It has been a crazy year for fantasy football, especially for me. As you can see, I have lost more than half of my starters to injury and Fred Davis to suspension who was my starting TE after week 1. Somehow I made it to the championship of my 9th annual 16-team PPR league with this broken team. I wasn't fortunate to get Brady, Gronko,A-Herndo, or Wes as I would have liked, but I have Ridley, Woodhead, Gostkowski, and our defense.

I know this is Pulpiteer country, but I wanted to share to you this:
I will be starting Danny Woodhead and probably the only person to do so in the entire country. When he scores this weekend please feel free to think of me pulling on the cash register CHa-Ching!

I needed Aaron Hernandez to have the monster game he had one measly week earlier. Yeesh. Thank goodness for all the non-winning slubs out there, there’s always next year.

If we win it this year I'm sure your fantasy losses will be long forgotten.

The last time I won my $$$ league we lost to the Giants and their lucky friggin helmet catch in the Superbowl, so this time I am thinkin we will win it. Now that we are playing great in 3-4 I just have this hunch. We have what it takes and the other teams that I feel could win it aren’t any better than we are on offense or defense. The only team that is the darkhorse is S.F. They play a different style of football, or I should say they win by playing tough defense and grind em out games. We can beat the Saints and the Packers. Let us just get this homefield clinched this weekend and watchout! Tha Ridla is going to be greatness for us this playoffs. I will never ? the $50 mil on Mayo ever again. Nice call. If we don’t win it then my victory won’t be as sweet just like in 07.

I need Matt Ryan and Roddy White to both have good games since I believe aaron rodgers will start tomorrow (my opponent has him).

Both of my fantasy teams should have been in the finals. Instead only one is, and my other fantasy team lost only because my defense (pittsburgh) decides to stink against the niners and give me a single point, when I needed only 7. =/

But I SHOULD be able to win in the finals with my other team, which would make my record for getting in the finals with 2-4 teams. And getting in the post season with all 4 teams. :)

Sorry so late to respond,

I have been too busy celebrating from my incredible victory! Can you believe I won with no starting RB?
Going into Saturday morning I found out Roy Helu was inactive and I had no more moves left because I used my last move to get Denarius Moore two weeks prior. So I slipped McCluster into the RB role and started Moore as my 3WR. Best thing that could’ve ever happened! He was so worried about the Felix Jones situation he didnt think of picking up Evan Royster and added Morris at 12:30pm. It was an incredible win and my second title. Too bad you can get bobbleheads trophies anymore through Yahoo! sports. I did win close to a G though :)

NOT TO METION JARED MAYO’s performance Saturday!

That is an excellent record in FF. I had 3 teams this year 2-16 team leagues and 1 10 team league. I won my $$ league, came in 2nd in my other 16 team league, and won my 10 team league with Brady and Gronko! How did you fare in the Ship?
