I'm not going to post a lot of opinion here. Bowers was the top pass rusher through February and most of March. But his knee injury is a major issue. One NFL source referred to his knee as a "ticking time bomb" and that he could be a one contract type player for the team that drafts him.

There's no bigger boom/bust player in this draft, and he might not even be a great fit for our defense.

ESPN's Blog Network mock draft has him falling to us at 17, and selecting him there. Justifying the pick by relating it to other Belicheck picks. (Brandon Tate, Shaun Crable, ect.) I'm not sure I buy it.
