Final Poll: Predict the Patriots First Draft Pick

Stay connected for news and updates

A couple of weeks ago, we ran a poll asking you who you thought would be the Patriots first draft pick in the 2011 NFL Draft.  The results of that poll:

Cameron Heyward, DE, Ohio State: 27%

Cameron Jordan, DE, California: 14%

Ryan Kerrigan, DE/OLB, Purdue: 12%

Gabe Carimi, OL, Wisconsin: 9%

JJ Watt, DE, Wisconsin: 6%

Anthony Costanzo, OT, Boston College: 6%

Da'Quan Bowers, DL/LB, Clemson: 5%

Julio Jones, WR, Alabama: 4%

Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska: 4%

Aldon Smith, DE/OLB, Missouri: 4%

Others (Wilkerson, Pouncey, Smith, Ingram) at 3% or less

I found the results interesting considering that most on this blog consider Heyward more of an option for the #28 pick rather than the #17.  Nonetheless, I thought the results showed just how utterly confused Patriots fans (including myself) are as we approach the final hours before the 2011 NFL Draft.  I know a lot of people, myself included, just do not know what to expect.  That being said, lets run one final prediction post on what the Patriots will do with the 17th overall pick.  This poll will be more general, but should give us a better idea on what the fans think could go down on draft day for the Pats.
