With the current labor situation Patriots draftees will miss many critical mini camps and coaching sessions. The Patriots run extremely complex schemes that require intelligent players and a dedication to studying the playbooks and many repetitions in practice. Because of this lack of coaching and OTAs I predict that the Patriots will push as many picks as they can into next year's draft. I cant see BB filling the roster with rookies who wont have a grasp of his complex schemes and taking valuable roster spots away from veterans who can contribute.
This combined with BB's wheeling and dealing, and lack of surplus picks in 2012 should make for lots of trades this weekend.
What do you think?
