Stay connected for news and updates

Earlier today, we reported that the Patriots would be among the first round of teams to report to training camp, with Wednesday, July 27th being the date players would report (15 days before the team's first pre-season game).  Now, with the CBA agreed upon, we have more details.  This afternoon, the Patriots released this statement with further information on the start of training camp:

Patriots fans won't have to wait long to see their favorite team in action. Well, in person anyway.

With the NFLPA finally agreeing to terms for a new CBA, thus putting an end to the lockout, players can begin reporting to Gillette Stadium tomorrow. Training camp will begin on Wednesday. The first practice is set for Thursday and will be open to the public, times to be announced. The initial practices will likely be scaled back a bit while the players continue to work toward playing shape.

As always, fans can call the training camp hotline at 508-549-0001 for more information.
