"Detroit Lions coach Jim Schwartz declined to say whether or not former first-round draft pick Gosder Cherilus will start at right tackle on Sunday. The Lions are hosting the Kansas City Chiefs and Schwartz doesn’t want to tip his hand after Cherilus and Corey Hilliard divided first-team reps in practice this week. Cherilus declined comment on the matter, and it looks like there is a real possibility Hilliard, a sixth-round draft pick by the New England Patriots in 2007, will take his place. At least for the short term. Hilliard was the one who replaced Cherilus last season following his knee injury."
