AFC Championship Game Thread

New England Patriots (#1) vs. Baltimore Ravens (#2)

Sunday, January 22nd, 2012 | 3:00 PM ET | TV: CBS

Ravens Coverage: Baltimore Beatdown

The Patriots began the third quarter by driving 14 plays and 74 yards. Unfortunately, the drive ended in just three points, the team's third drive that stalled inside the red zone on the night.

The Ravens then got the ball and drove down the field for a touchdown. On the next kick-off, Danny Woodhead fumbled and the Ravens were able to tack on another three points.

With the Patriots driving at the end of the 3rd, Rob Gronkowski suffered what appeared to be a serious ankle injury. Big story to watch there.

Congrats pats fans.

Question, are they booing Drew Bledsoe or saying “Dreeeeeew”
was that a thing when he was there?

Can I get some hot sauce for my doughnut?

real pats fans appreciate everything Bledsoe did for that team

The WNBA is all about the game of basketball. No overblown hype, no despicable personalities, no outrageous amounts of money, no mugging halftime analysts, and no poisonous animosities. Just the finesse and effort of basketball. If that isn't interesting to people, then people just aren't interested in basketball.

I like hearing that.

This same performance won’t win the big one in Indy, that’s for sure.

Remember when he said Ravens 2012 AFC Champions?

I'm one of them.

And I don’t shrink from it, either.

It’s how I make it through these games. Every horrible scenario runs through my mind.

With 15 seconds left, I was thinking that kicker didn’t have enough time to prepare himself. And I was right.

I just realized how much I missed this feeling...

…The Pats going to the SB.

Got to give credit to the Ravens

they played hard, and almost got us. Flacco played great, if not for SPIKES!, and their D stymied TB again, but somehow we pulled it out.

What was the final line? It started at 6.5 didn’t it?
