Intangibles for consideration:
1. MHK and how serious everyone is taking this on the team. Recall BJGE touchdown and the proud display pointing to the logo. Don't think that the Pats wouldn't love to bring this one home to honor her.
2. Passing of 85’s father. He’s ripe for a big plays and just maybe he’s aiming to prove something just like Favre was after his father’s passing.
3. Revenge. As if Brady needed this for motivation. And all this junk about Eli being as good or better than Brady...The defense has been criticized all year--but there hasn't been much talk about how much they've improved--so I think they're a little jaded on that side of the ball especially.

I fully agree!
The pats are being heavily underestimated. This defense has a lot more fight in it than past seasons (the afc championship is evident of that). If bjge gets off to an early start we can keep nyg’s vaunted pass rush to a minimum as they’ll have to respect the run.

I believe the team's desire to honor Myra and show their affection for Robert Kraft is very real
but whatever outside motivations they have will only take them so far in the game – the rest will come down to execution on the field and the grind-it-out play-by-play rhythm of the game.
Keep the faith!

I had a feeling the Patriots were gonna win the Super Bowl this year after finding out Myra Kraft passed away
There was no way in hell (pardon the swearing) BB and Brady were gonna let this one get away. The owner has been great to the players and community as well as saving football- so all the stars are aligning for Kraft and the Patriots to win the super bowl this year. The hug by Jeff Saturday is symbolic of that- good luck with your post game career Jeff, you were one of the best guys in the NFL both on and off the field.
Tedy Bruschi- "How do we feel about being AFC Champs?"
Team- "Aww Yeah!!!"
Intangibles have a way of shaking things up...
It can affect execution, whether improsing or diminishing it. I think the Patriots will come out with a great deal of fire for this one.
