Now I know it's not an official holiday and, to be honest, we should be thankful year round but this is a rare day (12-12-12). So I'd like to offer my thanks and wishes for health beyond normal parameters to Tom Brady, Gisele, and their newborn Vivian (and those other kids :P ).
That said, let's look at what Tom has done for us this year, just in general
29 passing TD - A perennial sight nowadays but his production has dropped slightly since the running game has taken off. Still, quit an impressive number when paired with..
4 INT - This level of production is insane and deserves more credit than it gets. He protects the ball better than any QB in the league. True team player.
4 rushing TD - An amusing sight and at one point he had more rushing TD's than Jamaal Charles and Chris Johnson. Again, great team player and he's been fighting in the trenches with that tall frame of his for the wins.
10-3 - rebound for the ages. After losing weird games early, the Patriots weren't phased and turned it all around to get the second best record in football, exceeded only by the team they just crushed.
We all know the rest of the story. Also, it's fitting this day fall in December, the month the Patriots are most dominant. So anyway, let's hope for a win this week and again, Happy Tom Brady Day!
