Super Bowl Bets?

Hey fellow Pats fans! So the Super Bowl is fast approaching (3 days!!!!) and I'm wondering if any of you have made any fun/quirky/crazy bets with friends. Here's mine:

If the Patriots win, my friend has to wear his old Youth Large Tedy Bruschi Super Bowl Jersey from those 'dark days' when he liked the Pats. (I'm not really sure why he lost his way but it's pretty tragic)

If the Giants win, I have to wear his Brett Favre Jets jersey. I don't even know why you would buy that... but whatever.

Ours is pretty low-risk, but what have you guys put on the line?

The views expressed in these FanPosts are not necessarily those of the writers or SBNation.

Haha that's pretty cool

Have to say, my football circle is all Patriots fans – although with the way some of them are wringing their hands over this one I’m beginning to wonder. Yeesh.

My son rooms with a bunch of Giants fans so they all agreed it wouldn’t be a good idea to watch the Super Bowl together so he’s coming home this weekend. : )

Keep the faith!

Must be nice, I have ALL Lions fans surrounding me and they don't want any of this Patriot pride

I gave them an opportunity to jump on the band wagon after the Lions lost in 1st round only to be declined. Whatever, at least I bet the gas station attendant and gave her all the teams for my Pats :)

wait wait wait, your friend went from a Pats fan to a Jets fan? That is cold blooded.

ha, he’s an NFL fan in general. I mean, we live in Seattle, so cheering for the Seahawks isn’t the most exciting thing in the world.

...did'ya see the bet our dumb-ass mayor made ?

Menino & Bloomberg actually are offering, really nice getaway packages to some lucky fan (in the opposing city) depending on a Pats or Giants victory. Wonder how they’re going to pick the lucky fan ? Let me rephrase that – if N.E. wins, I know how Menino will pick our area’s lucky winner – some political hack of the loony-left variety… somebody’s brother-in-law who knows somebody on Beacon Hill.

The way I see it (a Pats win) – somebody from here is going to be spending some quality time in New York City.

Not this time...

You see, on Black Sunday, I bet my Pats hating friend that if the Pats won, she had to congratulate them on this e-mail list we were both a part of….

If the Giants lost, I had to go on after the game and congratulate the Giants…

In my quest to do things differently this time around, I have not spoken to that friend in a week, and even if I do, we will not be betting.

There ya go - do things differently

That’s what I’ve been doing – even from what I’m serving Sunday and with new Pats decorations around. None of the same stuff from black sunday.

Keep the faith!

I totally am...

I am wearing an outfit that i did not own any of on that day, watching the game in a different room of the house (and probably with my brother- if he can stomach me for four quarters… I am a little high strung), and staying off the computer during the game

i bet my co-worker

He hates the Patriots. Mainly because all they do is “win, win, win”. He is a cowgirl fan, so he has not had much to cheer about.

I bet him that if patriots win He has to wear a patriots sticker on his hard hat for a whole year. If the Patriots lose then i have to wear a Giants sticker on my hard hat for an entire year.

If giants win, i don’t know how long i can keep the giants sticker on my hard hat.
