Almost There....

Willie McGinest said on NFL Network the other night that, "There are two things going on in Indy, the Super Bowl and the game." Boy is he right. And I've had it up to my eyeballs with the Super Bowl, I want the dagone game to get here already. Thank God we only have to keep ourselves busy for this one last day.

Couple of thoughts to share with you guys before kickoff, and I will start by saying it has been very enjoyable conversing with so many of you guys these past two weeks.

My biggest fear going into this game is that I will look up with about 1:30 on the clock in the fourth quarter in a tight game and Tom Brady will have the ball with two or three timeouts.

I am proud to get to face one of the finest franchises in football in the Super Bowl and the chance to try and beat one of the greatest coach QB combos in pro football history just adds to that.

We have seen alot of "stuff" from the media over the past two weeks, like most people are picking the Giants, stories blown out of proportion, Stories that shouldn't have been written, every angle covered, every matchup dissected, repaired, and dissected again.

All that is left to say is that I hope it is a game where both teams play their best, and that it is a hard fought, entertaining game where no one gets injured and the refs have very little impact on the outcome of the game.

I mentioned this to Jack's Axe in another post last night, but, if my Giants lose I am going to be able to temper some of my disappointment by feeling happy for Mr. Kraft after losing his wife, and for this organization after losing its matriarch.

Good luck to all of you guys on your boxes and whatever, and may the best team win. Oh and, one more thing... Death to the underwear nerd. Damn I wish he would just go away...
