As you all probaly know we could se some help in our secondary! I think we should sign some FA and draft some possibilitys. Here are my thoughts and some stats for some guys I think we should consider. Cortland Finnegan-I know he comes with some baggage but it is not like it is serious legal trouble. Here are some career averages for important stats for a corner.In his five years as a starter, Finnegan averaged 80 tackles, 2.8 interceptions and 12 pass defenses a season. Carlos Rodgers-I don't him because he is 30 because if we bring him in for a season he might hold up the progression of our younger CBs but I still view him as an optin if we miss on the others. In his six full seasons (excluding the injury shortened 2007 campaign), Rogers averaged 53 tackles, 2.1 interceptions and 15.1 pass defenses a season. Brandon Carr-Since KC used franchise tag on Bowe and sinded Stanford Routt I think they let Carr walk. Since they still have Brandon Flowers who is a good CB. Carr was pretty good last season from what I saw. In his four years in the NFL, Carr averaged 59.25 tackles, two interceptions and 16.2 pass defenses a season. Tracy Porter-I would rather not pick him up since he has had a hard time staying healthy. In his four year career, Porter has averaged only 10.75 games a season while averaging 48.5 tackles, 1.75 interceptions and 8.25 pass defenses a season.
