So I'm bored. I'm tired of the top100 filler content and OTA coverage of the NFL Network. I'm well over whatever ESPN offers as NFL content.
How bored you ask? Bored enough that I thought of this question - who is most important to the Pats D in 2012? Then I realized several players hold key roles on the D so this could be a vague and open ended question. I needed to refine this postulation and clarify my request of you all to provide some slight mental challenge worthy of debate. Asking which single player is most important is hardly exciting but something as large as list five is just right out of the question.
Three shall be the number thou shalt list, and the number of thy count shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two -excepting that thou be proceeding directly to three.
Once the number three be reached, then thou must lobbest thou defending conversation towards thy breathern of the pulpit, who being naughty and comical at heart, shall snuff it.
So I ask all of thee, who are your 3?
Mine lay quietly beyond thy jumpiest jumpski
3. Patrick Chung
Until I know where/how Hightower is going to fit in the LB core I see Spikes as the biggest difference maker in the LB core. Mayo is great but I find that when Spikes is on the field the defense plays better and with more spirit.
Wilfork needs no defending
Pat Chung, is easily the best DB the Pats have. His being on the field for 16 games not only makes the seconardy much better it likely leads to a pro bowl berth.
So those are my three, who are yours?
