Patriots sign TE Jake Ballard off waivers!
According to the Associated Press Jake Ballard was claimed off waivers by our New England Patriots.
I think we could all agree that this signing is great for us considering Ballard is only 24 and brings another big bodied and able TE to the roster, but what does it mean?

Was this just a can't pass up opportunity that is also a nice addition that gives us some added perspective on the Giants playbook? Does this mean anything about the future of Aaron Hernandez after 2013? What about Scaife and Fells?? Is it safe to assume Bo Scaife will not make the roster? Maybe this was to take some of the pressure off of H-Bomb and Gronko or maybe we will see more of H-Bomb in a utility role at WR/RB/TE? All in all I would say this is just another victory for us! Discuss...
