FOXBOROUGH, MA -- Welcome to Gillette Stadium, where Pats Pulpit will be covering tonight's in-stadium training camp practice, which is a season-ticket holder exclusive event. It's currently just past 4:30, about a half hour before Patriots head coach Bill Belichick is scheduled to hold a press conference with reporters, and while it rained on my way into the stadium, the weather is expected to hold up for tonight's practice. That being said, here is the expected schedule for this evening's event:
5:00 - Bill Belichick Press Conference
6:30 - Practice Begins
9:00 - Conclusion of practice, media availability to players
The plan here is to head down to the field at around 8:45, and be back to the press box to post interview transcripts and practice notes around 9:45. This is an important practice in the team-building process, as it reflects a game-like atmosphere, with most of the bottom concourse expected to be filled with fans.
Note: If you'd like for me to "look for something" in particular during practice, feel free to leave a comment below. I can't make any promises, but I'll try to pay attention to that player or personnel group. Also, keep in mind that, according to team policy, I won't be able to comment on "strategy" (formations, non-conventional plays, etc.).
