Jeff Demps is won the silver medal for Team USA at the London Olympics. Known for his speed, he can run a 9.96 second 100m sprint. That is blazing fast...

After going undrafted from the Florida Gators, he decided to give up his football career to pursue track...in which he participated in the London Olympics.

So now the Patriots have signed him so what does he bring to this team?

Last season the Patriots had one of the worst kickoff return averages in the league. Despite the new kickoff rule from the new CBA, the kickoff is indeed undervalued but it is still very important. Bring in Jeff Demps...and you may have one of the most effective kickoff returners in the league. With his speed, the sky is the limit.

Besides the kickoff the, what else can he bring to the Patriots?

I envision him in a Darren Sproles role. And Demps is faster than Sproles...

The Patriots are going to try everything they can to get Sproles out in space because that is where he will be most deadly.
