According to nfl.com the Patriots have started off cut day with a bang!
I'll tell you I didn't see this coming at all.
I guess one might take a glass is half full approach and say that this must mean they are happy with the progress Ryan Mallett has shown.
In reality, I'm not so sure Mallett has arrived there just yet. On the other hand, Hoyer most likely will be one of the more sought after free agents.
I'm a bit baffled to tell you the truth - please Pulpiteers give me your thoughts on this...
