Okay, so it might not have the excitement of a regular season game, but tonight, NFL football will be back nonetheless. The 2012 NFL Hall of Fame game will kick-off in Canton, Ohio at 8:00 PM ET, and it will feature two NFC teams: the Arizona Cardinals and the New Orleans Saints.

Normally, I would just casually watch this game. However, since the Patriots will host the Saints for their own preseason opener on Thursday night, this game is worth watching. It will give Patriots fans some exposure to some of the Saints' lesser known players, so that watching the preseason opener on Thursday could be a bit more interesting. The Patriots will also play the Cardinals in week two of the regular season... so there is that.

Aside from that, while I don't expect most of you to hang around for the entire game, it is time to rejoice: football is back! And that is always a good thing.
