TEs dominate first Offensive outing

I wrote plenty about this just a couple of weeks back in another Fanpost: Insight Into Four TEs

http://www.patspulpit.com/2012/9/1/3284566/insight-into-four-tes

To follow up, this was what the distribution looked like in the Titans game:

4 TE/ 1 RB -------------- 6 of 67 **

3 TE/ 1 RB/ 1 WR------ 8 of 67

2 TE/ 1 RB/ 2 WR------46 of 67

2 TE/ 3 WR---------------7 of 67

** - This includes O-linemen or TE acting as FB

(penalties included)

Every Offensive snap of the game had at least two TEs in formation, they went into the game with Daniel Fells, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez, Visanthe Shiancoe, and Michael Hoomanawanui, on the roster (along with Jake Ballard on PUP/Reserve and Alex Silvestro on the PS) . Against the Titans they had four active TEs for the game.

Clearly this is fixing to be a year where the Offense's biggest focus is on incorporating TEs into the game-plan and causing as many mis-matches as possible. I expect to see them diversify how they use their TEs as the season progresses.
