Secondly the defense did its job for half but got exposed cheating up to stop the run. While you could say they didnt do their job i thought the Ravens just executed very well. I also thought if Jones wasn't held (never called) on half the plays there would have been more pressure on Flaco. Two things wrong with the defense in my opinion. First let's see Cunnigham on the edge Ninkovich had horrible game let the Ravens get the edge and brought no pass rush. It's time to see if Cunningham Jones DE bookends van wreak havoc on quarterbacks. Ninkovich is not getting the job done. Secondly lets dial up sone different looks on Defense. I know the D is young but look at the ravens bringing it on key plays. Rather than waiting for bad things to happen lets dial up some blitzes or different looks. Flaco had the D figured out in the second half (in part because of the holding and too much time) It was evident by the 4th quarter we need to make adjustments. They never came and Flaco had a field day. This defense has the personal to give different looks. lets dial up the play book and keep quaterbacks guessing. My guess is when Manning in two weeks looks at the film he will see the same Pat's D on a majority of plays. Need to change it up or good QB's will expose you. Once having said that the D missed a few interceptions that could have put it away, but as much as they were exposed it was obvious long before the last drive that the Pats offense needed to close out the game.
Time to start playing aggressive football guys, As much as I hate to admit I like it better when we go for it on fourth and 1 from our own 30 then just hang back and let the other team take it to us. Let's close out games. Let the offense play.
