Patriots - Titans Injury Report: 9/5/12

Stay connected for news and updates

Patrick Chung appears close to returning from a preseason knee injury.

The Patriots have released their first injury / participation report for their week one game against the Tennessee Titans:

Did Not Participate:

Shane Vereen, RB (Foot)

Nick McDonald, OL (Shoulder)

Limited Participation:

Daniel Fells, TE (Shin)

Sterling Moore, CB (Knee)

Sebastian Vollmer, OT (Back)

Full Participation:

Patrick Chung, S (Shoulder)

Thoughts: The two players who did not participate, Shane Vereen and Nick McDonald, are good bets to not play in Sunday's game against the Titans... Sebastian Vollmer, who had limited participation due to a back injury, is one key player to keep an eye on the rest of the week... The injury situation to the Patriots safeties could be clearing up. Pat Chung had full participation, which is generally seen as a good sign. Meanwhile, offseason pick-up Steve Gregory is left off the injury report all-together.

Titans Key Injuries: The Titans could have some injury issues along the defensive line as both of their starting defensive tackles, Sen'Derrick Marks (did not participate, knee) and Jurrell Casey (full participation, elbow) were listed on the injury report. Reserves Mike Otto, Zac Diles, and Scott Solomon were also all listed on the report.
