NFC Wild Card Thread: Vikings at Packers

USA TODAY Sports

Use this thread to discuss the Vikings vs. Packers Wild Card playoff game!

We now officially know that the New England Patriots will host the Houston Texans at Gillette Stadium at 4:30 PM ET next Sunday. What does that mean?

Patriots fans can relax and just enjoy playoff football for the rest of the weekend. The first match-up we can enjoy is the Vikings vs. Packers.

The big storyline? Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder, who threw three touchdowns in the finale win over Green Bay, is out with an injured elbow. In for Ponder? Joe Webb, who didn't throw a regular season pass this year. His back-up? McLeod Bethel-Thompson.

Fortunately for the Vikings, they won't be relying on their passing attack. They'll be relying on the should-be NFL MVP... running back Adrian Peterson. Unfortunately for the Vikings, they have to go up against the playoff-tested Green Bay Packers at Lambeau. Greg's Prediction: Packers 31 Vikings 20
