Let' face it if the New Orleans offense did its job after the Brady interception the dialogue about this game would be much different, We would be talking about Brady misfire Ammendola durability, and Gronk not playing. BB said it jokingly in his press conference but its true. That's not what is important, our D showed it is for real. IT was given a task of stopping Graham and it did. Brees had 7 3 and outs and did its job getting Brady 3 chances in the last 3 and half minutes.
We are 5 and 1 and we haven't played close to potential. We have 2 or 3 playmakers out every game. Yet somehow its starting to come together. The rookies while making mistakes are making strides and now a big game winning play. Austin Collie comes in and two catches one on 4th down and showing chemistry with Brady. The beauty of what we are seeing is we know we have big playmakers coming back. Gronk and Vereen will raise the offense, and now we seem to have depth at some positions. The slot is Ammendola, Edleman, Boyce and Collie. The outside is Thompkins and Dobsin with Boyce out there too occasionally. Gronk and Houman at TE and all the rookies with a ton of game reps. In the last few years we have lost only one game in the second half of the season. This team will start to preform, but more importantly are finding ways to win now. Whem healthy think an offense on Third down with Gronk at TE, Collie or Ammendola in the slot, Dobsin and Thompkins or second TE and Vereen at RB would be a lot of options
WE Have few more injuries so it ll still be a grind. Jets will not be a walk. Talib won't hurt as much if he is out, but Kelly and Wilfork will against a running team. Next week will not be easy for us to run or Brady to step up so expect the grind to continue. However if we keep gritting it out and keep winning i do not care how we look now, because i know Come the last 4 games we will be playing our best football on offense.
