Carolina Tests Our Offense, Bronco's tests Our Defense

Well our offense is about as healthy as it can be with Vereen's return. We have all components back and we're facing a top defense. As much as Carolina will use this game as a measuring stick it will be a good measuring stick for our offense as well. I do think with all our pieces back the Pats offense will be a matchup nightmare. Even without Vereen the attention Gronk received allowed for big plays both by Amendola and Dobsin. The addition of Vereen now gives us huge potential underneath and should help especially on 3rd down situations. Now i do believe we will win this game, but there are a a couple of keys. First and foremost is keeping Brady upright. Give him time with these weapons and we'll move the chains. That may be difficult as Cannon will be facing a decent pass rusher on the right. I think initially we go max protect with two TE and utilize short quick underneath routs to get the ball out quick. Screen game will be big as well with Vereen return Second can we run the ball. While this is important think protecting Brady the key. It will be added bonus if we can run against Carolina, but stopping the run is their thing. If we are having touch time in this regard, i think we can throw to run. Same as above Vereen screens, Amendola slants and hit wherever Gronk wherever he plants his massive body. Once Carolina brings more players in the box then we unleash seam routes and Dobson long. Perhaps move to 3 receiver spread as well. With pats on D this team I think we focus on the run game. While Cam has had a decent year Carolina is run first ball control team with short passing game. There is no go to guy at receiver position, they spread the ball around equally mostlyshort to intermediate routes. I assume Talib will be on Smith, but I think key to our D is bringing the second Safety into the box and leaving McCourty on an island as a deep safety. I think he has shown he is capable and the long pass isn't really Carolina's thing. Focus on stopping the run Prediction Pats 37- Carolina 24

Denver game is more about our D against their O. It is from their perspective too. Our D is better than theirs at stopping the pass, but their offense is more on the same page than ours. I think eventually we get to Denver's consistency, but more likely next year. I think giving Vereen an extra week with the offense helps against Denver. The over line is 56 so as i think this will be a shootout (take the over). As of now Denver is 2.5 to 3 point favorite with Pats at home. It could change with outcome of tonight's game, but I imagine the Pats will be motivated as a home dog for as long as I can remember. Still this is the type of game that no lead will be safe. Up 17 at the half and i will still be biting my nails. Denver Offense matches up well against us.Short passing game will test the middle of our D which isn't great we give up a lot there. They clearly have an advantage even if Talib takes out a key player. I know our run D is injured, but this game will be about stopping Manning and Spikes if in the middle could hurt with passes over the middle. The key question is will Welker play. If he is out that should move the odds. Where we have an advantage when on Offense is we are better running team than Denver. We can keep them more honest than they can keep us. We can also eat clock much better than they can. From what i have seen their defense is their weakness, but they have gotten key players back and should be improve from earlier in the season. Still this game will be about who puts up the most points. My predictions Pats 41 Denver 34

Yes i am Pats fan so take my predictions with a bias
