I feel like we're coming off a long, drawn out offseason when I say this, but was this the longest 15 days or what?
Yes, it's been a full 15 days since the Patriots last played football. And fortunately, football is back again tonight, as the Patriots travel to Charlotte to take on the Carolina Panthers on Monday Night Football.
With the Patriots on the road, this game looks to be the toughest test of the Patriots' season thus far against a Panthers team that has won five straight games and looked pretty darn good doing it. The Patriots of course, have had a lot of time to prepare for Carolina, and that should play in their favor. Although this game could go either way, I'm going to be an optimist and say the Patriots turned a corner against the Steelers in week nine. The return of Shane Vereen adds a huge dynamic to this offense, which is finally as healthy as it will get this year. I think the Patriots can surprise many by putting in a strong offensive performance against one of the league's very best defenses. I'll take the Patriots. Greg's Prediction: Patriots 24 Panthers 20
