The New England Patriots have announced their week 17 inactives for their match-up against the Buffalo Bills:
Steve Beauharnais, LB
Alfonzo Dennard, CB
Josh Boyce, WR
Isaac Sopoaga, DL
Devin McCourty, S
Jake Bequette, DL
Chris Barker, OL
The big news here are two players returning to action for the Patriots: offensive tackle Nate Solder (concussion) and wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins (hip). With Solder back at left tackle, Logan Mankins will slide back to left guard, moving Josh Kline back to a reserve role.
Thompkins will re-join the receiver mix, where he was beginning to regain momentum before his injury. It will be interesting to watch how he figures into the x-receiver rotation with Aaron Dobson and Danny Amendola.
Shane Vereen, who missed the majority of the Ravens game after pulling up with a groin injury in the first half, is also active and will play.
So in the team's regular season finale, it appears that the Patriots offense will be just about as healthy as it will be post-Gronk.
